Hi Folks!
Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. I retrieved Hubby from the airport about 2 am Tuesday morning. My little mother-in-law had her lump removed and the doctors are optimistic. She made a quick recovery, and was able to enjoy a brief visit with Hubby and with her granddaughter and great grandkids. She's quite a gal.
We had almost 36 hours of peace.
While Hubby and I were getting ready for work yesterday, my dad decided that he needed a hair cut at 7 am. He walked to the barber about 2 blocks away. On the way home, he tripped on the sidewalk and managed to break his jaw at the joints, driving the jawbone into his ears on both sides. For good measure he put his dentures through his bottom lip.

Fortunately, there are still some good Samaritans in the world. A passing jogger with a cell phone called me and we were able to get Dad to the ER. He's going to be in the hospital for a few days, at least.
Both our parents celebrated their birthdays the first week in July. Not a good month for Cancers, apparently. My son and Hubby have birthdays this month also.
I hope all of you are well. I don't mean to ignore anyone. I'll do my best to catch up as Life permits.
I Love You, Streamers!

A day above ground is better than one below!!!
Sorry about your dad - hope he gets better.

Thanks for your good thoughts and for stopping by. Hope your week is terriffic.
I don't know how old your father is, but a friend of mine, who is younger I am sure, tripped and fell on a sidewalk and did thousands of dollars of damage to his teeth. It can happen to people who are not considered elderly.
Good to hear your mother-in-law is doing well also. Sounds like you have a lot going on in your world.
You take care.
I hope that your week will find you filled with peace and many unexpected joys.
